A Prescription for Healing

When we decide to question our beliefs and explore what’s beyond Christianity or our established worldview, it can seem like we are wandering out into the desert. To make matters worse, sometimes we experience PTSD from the trauma we experienced earlier in life, and it didn’t get better in organized religion.

What we need is to take a step back and honestly evaluate organized religion in the 21st century. Do we really need it anymore? Is it absolutely necessary, or is it just something that we are clinging to because we once felt security there?

Because most religions fail to address the trauma issue in our lives that is stored in our bodies, we need to take positive actions to address our woundedness so that we can move on to a more enlightened, thriving on our own.

We can learn to develop our own intuition, and we’ll find trusted guides at the right time when we need them. But for a moment, let the condensed understandings that we gained from setting around campfires here in the desert help you in your journey.

Of the many books we have written in the past few years, these two represent our prescription for all of you who have taken on the noble task of moving towards a more enlightened future and a more whole existence now and into the future

Be where you are, Be who you are,
